A Translation Memory (TM) is a database that stores the source
text and its translation.
It allows you to reuse your translation for new version of the
source report or similar reports. This allows you to avoid re-translating
the same text repeatedly with each release of an
updated source report.
For example, imagine you translated an English report with Crystal Reports
into French and German. Previously, if you had to make modifications in
the English report you had to either:
- Make the same
modifications to the French and German reports. This can be done only

scratch the new English report into French and German.
