cViewTEXT.TextFolder | Operation
Use this approach if you want to process multiple files from one folder. You use a file name with a wildcard to select the images. For example, c:\Products\CR*.htm will select all the jpg files that have a name that starts with CR in the c:\Products folder. You use the cViewTEXT.TextFolder driver in a similar way to the cViewTEXT.TextFile driver. Create a new report or subreport, and select a COM data source. In CR8.5 this is listed in the data explorer under "More Data Sources", "Active Data". If you do not see COM data listed, you can install the COM driver using these instructions.
Specify a COM Program ID of cViewTEXT.TextFolder.
You will then be prompted for a search string. Enter the device, folder and wildcard file name to select the images for your report.
This can be used to retrieve multiple images in a main report or subreport. |
