Crystal Reports: Send multiple emails from a Crystal ReportA question arose on the newsgroups once about how to send multiple email messages from one Crystal Report. We actually have User Function Libraries (UFLs) just for Crystal Reports related e-mail. These UFLs illustrate the power and functionality available to developers using UFLs. UFLs are functions that can be used to write formulas like any other function. When you install them, they appear under “Additional Functions” in the Formula Editor. Of course, not everyone has the time, patience, or inclination to write UFLs. That's why we have created several very useful UFLs. You should take a look at these. You may find a solution to a problem you didn't realize you had. The key to understanding UFLs is the UFL function is not an Export. The UFL is a parallel process that firstly combines Crystal Reports for controlling the processing cycle and secondly retrieves records from a database. So what about those mail UFLs? cViewMAIL allows you to create an e-mail output for your Crystal Reports. You can use it with 3rd party applications to send email messages to an SMTP server.
Any use you have for sending mail to an SMTP is a use for cViewMAIL.
SendMAIL lets you send multiple e-mail messages from one report without invoking your e-mail client. It can send single short messages or build up a longer message and send when needed. It can include formatted HTML and images in the email message.
This User Function Library sends email messages during the processing of a
Crystal Report. You can send reports via any SMTP client, without needing to
invoke the program first. Free 30-day trial.
