Crystal Reports: Format Graphics in Your Report

A graphic image in our report can be a major improvement in the presentation and appearance of our reports. The first step is to select the image file to place in your report. It can be a GIF, BMP, or JPG image.

You can manually resize the image, or if you require a higher level of control, you can right click on the object in your report, and select "Format Graphic" from the menu. This menu allows you to control the Scale and Size of your graphic. There are also options to enable you to Crop the graphic from the Left, Right, Top and Bottom.

And there is a "Reset" Button to return to the original settings of the image. You may wish to use a graphic editing program to resize and compress your image before you insert it into your report.

If you want to dynamically include graphics and don't like the limitations in the latest version of Crystal Reports, you should use cViewIMAGE. A related product, for dynamically including text, is cViewTEXT.
