Crystal Reports: DSX32 and Modules Utility

The biggest headache a developer has is what to include in an install script to run your program or Crystal Report on another machine. Windows might be a standard, but the DLLs shared by all the programs are different on every machine.

Here are a couple of utility programs to make life easier. On the CR8 CD, in the tools folder you will find DSX32 and Modules. Unzip the files and put them on your test machine. Both will show you what libraries are being used by what programs. DSX32 will work on Win95/98 machines, while NT/Win2k programs will get results with the modules program.
